As many of our customers know we use the oil that we take out of cars to heat our building. We have been in the process of building a state of the art system to contain and distribute the oil that we collect from cars. We are excited to be the only automotive repair facility in the area who is making such improvements.

We recycle more than any other shop around! All of the oil we recover from oil change services is recycled and used again. Any and all of the cardboard from our daily parts deliveries is recycled. All plastic oil containers are recycled.

The State of New Hampshire allows automotive repair shops to throw used oil filters in the trash! Here at Importech, we collect all of the used oil filters. We crush them to get all of the oil out, and then have them recycled.

We are still in the process of finishing our addition that will safely house and protect our oil, and other fluids for recycle. This activity takes more time and effort, but it’s worth the trouble to help keep our environment clean. If for some reason there is a spill on the premises, it will be contained in our containment basins.

The earth is a great place, and unfortunately, it is being polluted more each day. Everyone and every business needs to do their part in helping to preserve a clean and safe environment for generations to come.
